Radiation Therapist - Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

Step into an important role providing advanced patient care in radiation therapy. This position focuses on supporting individuals undergoing radiation treatment, delivering therapeutic procedures with precision and compassion.

Schedule/Hours:

• Five 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• No weekends or holidays

Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts state license at the time of application
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Valid certification: ARRT (T)
• Active BLS certification
• Experience working with True Beam - Linear Accelerator strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer high-quality radiation treatments, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines
• Operate and maintain treatment machines, with emphasis on accelerators and True Beam linear accelerators
• Collaborate with medical teams to deliver accurate and individualized treatment plans
• Document patient information, treatment parameters, and progress with accuracy and confidentiality
• Adapt to changing clinical needs, with primary responsibilities at the University campus and ability to float to additional sites as needed (Memorial, Fitchburg, and Marlborough)
• Ensure patient comfort and provide professional, compassionate care throughout the treatment process
• Maintain a professional appearance in scrubs or business casual attire and lab coat

$2,838 - $2,992/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
