Radiation Therapist - Snowflake, AZ

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Days
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• No cancellations

Required Qualifications and Licensure:

• Certification as a Radiation Therapist
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT credential for Radiation Therapist licensure
• Current Arizona State CTT Radiation Therapist certification

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity operating Varian 21iX Linear Accelerator equipment
• Proficiency using Pinnacle for treatment planning
• Experience with Mosaiq and Allscripts electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer precise therapeutic radiation treatments prescribed by physicians
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper setup for optimal treatment delivery
• Collaborate with dosimetrists, physicists, and oncology teams to verify treatment plans
• Maintain thorough documentation and update records within Mosaiq and Allscripts systems
• Monitor patients for treatment tolerance, responding to clinical observations as needed
• Adhere to strict safety and quality assurance protocols while handling radiation equipment
