Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 x 8-hour shifts)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on radiation therapy experience
• Active Virginia Radiation Therapist license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Proficiency in operating Varian Truebeam/Aria technology strongly preferred
• Ready for immediate start
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with a dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety at every stage
• Collaborate closely with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to develop and implement precise treatment plans
• Oversee patient setup, positioning, and comfort during each session
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and treatment logs
• Adhere to established protocols, regulatory standards, and safety procedures
• Provide patient education, emotional support, and answer any treatment-related questions
• Participate in quality assurance procedures and ongoing departmental improvement activities
