Radiation Therapist in Stephens City, VA

Schedule & Setting:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (5x8s)
• Contract opportunity with an immediate start

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Current and active Virginia license, required at time of application
• Proficient in the use of Varian Truebeam and Aria platforms
• Strong attention to patient safety, accurate dosing, and compassionate care
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
• Willingness and ability to complete a two-part interview process (first round via Teams; second round in person, with travel expenses and lodging covered)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and maintain advanced radiation equipment
• Monitor patient reactions and provide informed, empathetic care
• Accurately document treatment sessions and adjustments in patient records
• Collaborate closely with the treatment planning and oncology teams
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety protocols and best practices
