Radiation Therapist - Sterling Heights, Michigan

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• No weekends or on-call shifts
• 5 days per week

Qualifications:

• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years’ radiation therapy experience
• Familiarity with Varian and Aria systems preferred
• Experience operating True Beam linear accelerators is a strong plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and compassionate radiation treatments to patients under physician direction
• Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment, including True Beams
• Collaborate with a small team of fellow radiation therapists to ensure efficiency and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients for therapy sessions while prioritizing comfort and compliance
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain complete records in accordance with clinical protocols
• Monitor patients for side effects or complications during therapies, notifying clinical staff as needed
• Uphold strict safety standards and infection control procedures
