Radiation Therapist | Strasburg, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Possess an active Virginia Radiation Therapist license (required)
• Expertise in operating Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment
• Minimum of two years’ experience in radiation therapy
• Proficiency in coordinating and performing complex treatment plans safely and accurately
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ready to start as soon as possible

Primary Duties:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a physician
• Carefully document all treatments and maintain precise records in compliance with clinical standards
• Perform equipment calibrations, safety checks, and basic troubleshooting for Varian systems
• Support patient comfort and safety throughout the treatment process, answering questions and providing clear explanations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality care improvements
