Step into an impactful role utilizing your expertise in radiation therapy to deliver exceptional patient care within a supportive clinical environment. This position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, with shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (5x8s), ensuring work-life balance and consistency.
Key Qualifications:
- Possess an active Virginia Radiation Therapist license (required)
- Expertise in operating Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment
- Minimum of two years’ experience in radiation therapy
- Proficiency in coordinating and performing complex treatment plans safely and accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ready to start as soon as possible
Primary Duties:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a physician
- Carefully document all treatments and maintain precise records in compliance with clinical standards
- Perform equipment calibrations, safety checks, and basic troubleshooting for Varian systems
- Support patient comfort and safety throughout the treatment process, answering questions and providing clear explanations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality care improvements
