Radiation Therapist in Strasburg, VA

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (5x8-hour shifts)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Radiation Therapy as a Radiation Therapist
• Active Virginia (VA) license in hand (required)
• Proficiency with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player able to adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely following physician protocols
• Collaborate with oncology care teams to ensure quality patient-centered care
• Maintain precise treatment records and documentation per departmental guidelines
• Consistently follow ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles and strict safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, offering support and education throughout their treatment
