Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Current licensure by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) as a Radiation Therapist
• Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Credentials: R.T. (R)(ARRT)
• Solid experience operating Varian Trilogy linear accelerators
• Proficiency using ARIA and Epic electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Comfortable following facility guidelines, including professional attire (grey scrubs)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective radiation therapy for oncology patients according to established protocols
• Operate Varian Trilogy linear accelerators for treatment delivery
• Accurately document treatments and patient information using ARIA and Epic EMRs
• Collaborate closely with other full-time radiation therapists to maintain a supportive and efficient care environment
• Monitor patient well-being throughout treatment, addressing concerns promptly
• Uphold all regulatory, safety, and quality standards required by state and national agencies
