Radiation Therapist in Winchester, VA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (5x8-hour shifts)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Current and valid Virginia state license required at time of application
• Proficiency with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems
• Strong commitment to patient safety and compassionate care
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and safety protocols
• Accurately interpret and implement treatment plans using Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment
• Monitor patient responses and document treatment records in detail
• Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families throughout the treatment process
• Uphold strict compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
