Radiation Therapist - Winchester, Virginia

The position utilizes advanced Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment to deliver targeted therapeutic treatments, supporting the continuum of care for cancer patients.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in radiation therapy
• Current and valid Virginia (VA) license (must have in hand at time of application)
• Strong familiarity with Varian Truebeam/Aria technology
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to start as soon as possible
• Commitment to best practices in safety and patient care

Responsibilities:

• Accurately administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Operate and maintain Varian Truebeam/Aria systems, ensuring quality and compliance
• Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their treatment process
• Document treatments and patient interactions according to clinical protocols
