Radiation Therapist | Winchester, Virginia

Experienced radiation therapy professionals are invited to apply for a contract opportunity supporting patient care with advanced technology. This role will leverage your skills in Radiation Therapy, utilizing two state-of-the-art Varian Truebeam/Aria systems.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Radiation Therapy required
• Active Virginia Radiation Therapist license (must be in hand to qualify)
• Strong proficiency with Varian Truebeam/Aria equipment highly preferred
• Confident communication skills and adaptability in patient-focused clinical environments
• Demonstrated record of delivering precise, safe radiation treatments according to physician directives

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments while maintaining strict adherence to prescribed protocols
• Accurately operate Truebeam/Aria equipment, verify proper setup, and monitor patient responses throughout the course of treatment
• Coordinate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and oncologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families, providing clear explanations of procedures
• Maintain comprehensive, timely records and documentation per regulatory standards

• The interview process includes two rounds: an initial interview via Teams, followed by an in-person interview. Travel and lodging expenses for the in-person stage are fully covered

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
