A skilled professional with expertise in Radiation Therapy is needed to contribute to a high-quality oncology team utilizing advanced Varian Truebeam/Aria technology. This is a contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare provider, seeking a candidate who is ready for an immediate start.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8s structure)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist
  • Active, valid Virginia state license (must have in hand before start)
  • Proficiency working with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, patient-centered environment
  • Availability to participate in a two-step interview process (virtual followed by in-person; travel and stay expenses covered for in-person interview)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments with precision and a commitment to patient safety
  • Accurately operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to plan and monitor treatment protocols
  • Educate and support patients and families through the treatment experience
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure strict adherence to regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
