Radiation Therapist | Worcester, Massachusetts

Deliver critical care to patients in a dynamic radiation oncology setting as a skilled Radiation Therapist. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise with state-of-the-art equipment, working primarily with accelerators and involving True Beam – Linear Accelerator technology.

Schedule/Hours:

• 5x8s day shift
• Monday through Friday
• No weekends or holidays

Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts Radiation Therapy license required at the time of application
• Minimum of one year of experience in radiation therapy
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ARRT (T) certification
• Previous experience with True Beam – Linear Accelerator strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Administer safe and precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, with a primary focus on accelerators
• Accurately follow treatment plans and document patient progress
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating as needed to other campuses, including Memorial, Fitchburg, and Marlborough
• Uphold high standards for patient safety and privacy at all times

Professional attire is required, consisting of scrubs or business casual with a lab coat, helping maintain a respectful and supportive clinical environment.

$2,838 - $2,992/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
