This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Respiratory Therapist eager to broaden clinical skills and gain exposure to various workplace practices and leadership styles in a dynamic healthcare setting. Serving primarily in critical care environments, you will refine your expertise in ventilator management, complex respiratory protocols, and patient- and family-centered education. You’ll expand your resume, collaborate with talented clinical teams, and contribute to staff and student development, setting the stage for lasting professional growth.
Schedule:
- Nights: 6:30pm – 7:00am
- One full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage respiratory care for patients with complex needs
- Administer medication and perform advanced respiratory therapies
- Manage ventilators, interpret waveforms, and perform airway procedures (intubation, extubation, trach tube care)
- Educate patients, families, new staff, and students
- Collaborate in quality initiatives and performance improvement activities
- Ensure accurate electronic documentation and safe practice standards
Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT)
- Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or equivalents, some within 180 days)
- 0–2 years of clinical experience, minimum 6 months critical care background required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and team skills
