Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shift
  • 6:30pm – 7:00am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced respiratory care in critical care areas, requiring independent decision-making and protocol ventilator management.
  • Administer aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, bronchial hygiene, and assist with airway management procedures (including intubation and trach care).
  • Perform ventilator weaning, waveform graphic interpretation, and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Educate patients, families, and mentor new staff and peers.
  • Assist in invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, promote patient safety, participate in quality improvement, and adhere to evidence-based practice.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT), Respiratory Care Professional (RCP).
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or eligibility within 180 days).
  • At least 6 months of critical care experience; Pediatric and Emergency Department experience preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, communication, and computer skills.
