This travel position empowers you to contribute your skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist—working primarily with complex, critical care patients and engaging in advanced ventilator management. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team navigating diverse patient needs, and gain hands-on leadership experience mentoring peers and new staff. Schedule/Hours:

  • Nights: 6:30pm – 7:00am
  • Includes 1 weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT), Respiratory Care Professional (RCP)
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or equivalent) certifications required (some within 180 days of hire)
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)
  • 6+ months of recent clinical critical care experience
  • Proficiency in communication, patient assessment, teamwork, and electronic medical records
  • Demonstrated customer service and mentoring skills
  • Experience in critical care, emergency department, and pediatrics preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced respiratory care, medication administration, ventilator management, and airway procedures
  • Assess patient needs and recommend therapy plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Perform arterial blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Educate patients, families, peers, and mentor new staff
  • Maintain rigorous documentation and support quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
  • Contribute to continuous performance improvement efforts
