Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am
  • Rotating weekends: 1 full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, protocol-driven respiratory care in critical and complex patient situations
  • Independently manage ventilators, perform weaning, airway management (including intubation, extubation, trach care), and interpret waveforms
  • Assess, plan, and administer aerosolized medications, bronchial hygiene therapy, and oxygen therapy
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide patient/family education and mentor/precept new staff and students
  • Assist in invasive/non-invasive procedures, including cardiac and pulmonary diagnostics
  • Ensure meticulous documentation within electronic medical records
  • Promote infection control and evidence-based practices for safety and performance improvement

Qualifications:

  • NBRC-RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) and RCP required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or Red Cross equivalents)
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy preferred
  • At least 6 months of critical care experience (emergency and pediatric settings preferred)
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and computer/database skills

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
