As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside diverse healthcare professionals and adapt to varying clinical protocols, broadening your skill set and enhancing your professional versatility. Schedule/Hours

  • Night shift: 6:30pm – 7:00am

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication and advanced respiratory care primarily in critical care areas
  • Manage ventilators, including protocol development, weaning, and airway care (intubation, extubation, trach tube change and care)
  • Conduct assessments for therapy, plan and coordinate patient services collaboratively
  • Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation
  • Educate patients, families, and mentor new staff and students
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to the highest standards of patient safety and evidence-based practice
  • Support and promote a positive team environment and service culture

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT), Respiratory Care Professional (RCP)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (current or obtained within 180 days)
  • 6+ months of critical care experience required; experience in Emergency Department or Pediatrics highly valued
  • Effective communication, strong critical thinking, and proficiency with clinical databases
