Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment; specific shift details will be provided during interview.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (current, valid credentials required)
  • Proficiency in adult critical care, ideally within a high-volume, busy emergency department with trauma experience
  • Preferred: Ability to draw/process blood gases using GEM system and interpret results
  • Experience treating patients in SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma units
  • Strong, confident personality with excellent time management
  • Team-oriented approach, eager to assist colleagues when possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced respiratory care to acutely ill adults across multiple specialized units
  • Respond effectively in busy, trauma-capable environments
  • Draw, process, and interpret blood gases (preferred)
  • Maintain clinical documentation and participate in interdisciplinary care planning
  • Mentor or support less experienced staff as workload allows
