Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Biddeford, Maine

This travel position is ideal for a Registered Respiratory Therapist who thrives on versatility and seeks hands-on experience caring for diverse patient populations. You’ll work across the entire hospital, delivering specialized care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity environments like the ICU, ER (including pediatrics), Med Surge floors, and Level 1 Nursery. You’ll gain invaluable exposure to a wide range of ventilators and respiratory equipment, enhancing your technical skills and expanding your resume with meaningful new experiences.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Weekend shifts as scheduled

Key Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in adult ICU and ER, including pediatric and high-risk deliveries
• Experience in Level 1 Nursery and as part of a resuscitation team
• Skilled with Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Airvo, neopuff, Ram cannula
• Proficient with EPIC EMR
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Team-oriented, excellent communicator, and positive attitude
• NICU/PICU experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care to newborn through adult patients
• Respond to high-risk deliveries and rapid response calls
• Float between all units, adapting to a variety of patient needs and situations
• Complete regular competency and educational modules during assignment
• Work collaboratively with medical staff as a reliable resource
