What You'll Need:

• Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the NBRC
• Valid state respiratory care practitioner license (or eligibility)
• Proven experience delivering respiratory therapy in acute care or hospital settings
• Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory modalities, equipment (ventilators, oxygen therapy, nebulizers), and patient assessment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to fast-paced clinical scenarios and shifting patient needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with pulmonary disorders
• Administer treatments such as bronchopulmonary drainage, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications
• Monitor and document patients’ progress and adapt therapy as needed in consultation with physicians
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory conditions, equipment usage, and home care instructions
• Ensure safe, accurate operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment
• Actively participate in emergency response situations, including rapid response and code teams
