Working within a dynamic respiratory care team in a 371-bed hospital, you’ll gain hands-on experience with diverse patient populations and collaborate with accomplished healthcare professionals. Exposure to different workplace practices, leadership styles, and advanced respiratory equipment will elevate your clinical skill set and help you build an impressive resume, enhancing both professional growth and adaptability.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Night shift (straight nights) with every other weekend required
  • Day shift staff may rotate to 11a-11p as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ acute care experience with proven competency in ventilator management
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy
  • Ability to perform arterial blood gas draws
  • CRT or RRT certification from NBRC
  • Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients in intensive care units, med/surg floors, ED, Labor & Delivery, and Level 2B Nursery
  • Operate and manage PB980 Ventilators and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilators
  • Efficiently document care using EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Support coverage for a wide range of acuity levels in a fast-paced environment
