Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment; schedule details provided during interview process

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
• Provide ventilator management and airway care, including intubation support
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and equipment usage
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses in electronic health records

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) for respiratory care in Mississippi
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
