Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active Respiratory Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in Connecticut
• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of one year recent acute care experience preferred
• Strong assessment and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective respiratory care to patients—neonatal to geriatric
• Monitor and operate ventilators and related life-support equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform diagnostic tests and manage therapeutic procedures
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment use
• Maintain accurate, timely records consistent with facility protocols
