Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel contract assignment; specific hours will be discussed during interview.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
  • Valid state licensure for Connecticut (or ability to obtain before start)
  • Certification in BLS; ACLS preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and quickly learn facility protocols

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care across diverse patient populations
  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care treatments and procedures
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to establish and coordinate care plans
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapy techniques
  • Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment according to safety standards
