Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and evaluate respiratory care therapies according to physician orders.
• Operate ventilators, assess patient breathing, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures such as ABGs, pulmonary function tests, and EKGs.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory treatment plans and equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC.
• State respiratory therapy licensure (or eligibility) as required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
• Previous experience in acute care or hospital environments preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, problem-solving mindset.
