Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Cape Girardeau, MO

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts (18:00 – 06:30)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours and call as required
• Orientation on day shift (must be available the entire week)

Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), licensed
• BLS and ACLS (AHA only), NRP, and PALS certifications required
• 3+ years of clinical experience
• Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
• Critical care background strongly preferred
• Proficient with EPIC EMR
• Commitment to working night shifts and adapting to varied patient care needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care for all aspects of respiratory therapy in accordance with physician orders
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff regarding respiratory care
• Consult with physicians to assess and enhance therapy effectiveness
• Participate actively during orientation and ongoing professional development
• Float to different areas as needed within the facility
