Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment; flexible scheduling typical for this hospital environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active registry as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT credential required)
  • Current state licensure as needed
  • Recent and relevant experience in a NICU setting
  • Proficiency in performing diagnostic and pulmonary function tests
  • Experience with phlebotomies and IV starts/removals
  • Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and function tests as ordered
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care as needed
  • Educate patients and families on administering treatments and respiratory equipment usage
  • Perform phlebotomies and manage IV procedures
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams, especially within NICU
