Qualifications:
- Active registry as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT credential required)
- Current state licensure as needed
- Recent and relevant experience in a NICU setting
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic and pulmonary function tests
- Experience with phlebotomies and IV starts/removals
- Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and function tests as ordered
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care as needed
- Educate patients and families on administering treatments and respiratory equipment usage
- Perform phlebotomies and manage IV procedures
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams, especially within NICU
