Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Chaffee, MO

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a diverse team in a 245-bed, Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center lauded for its high safety standards and distinguished certifications, including Advanced Cardiac and Primary Stroke Center designations. This position promises ample chances to advance your professional development as you manage a wide variety of respiratory cases across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations, gaining exposure to best practices and leadership approaches from accomplished clinicians within a leading healthcare facility.

Schedule & Hours

• Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 36-hour workweeks
• 13-week contract
• Orientation on day shift (full week commitment required)
• Weekend and on-call hours as needed

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required
• BLS and ACLS (AHA only), NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years direct experience, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal care
• Critical care experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience beneficial

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care per provider orders across all patient age groups
• Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of treatments
• Act as a resource for respiratory care best practices
• Float to other units as needed
