Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care and treatment to patients as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Manage mechanical ventilation and support for patients with respiratory distress or failure.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Respond to emergency respiratory situations promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience working in acute care or hospital settings preferred.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills essential.
