Schedule/Hours:

• Travel position, schedule determined upon assignment

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program with active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• BLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
• NRP certification (within 6 months)
• Minimum of one year of hospital-based respiratory experience
• Familiarity with pulmonary diagnostics and cardiac diagnostic procedures preferred
• Ability to pass required background check, drug screen, and health assessment
• Legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, competent respiratory care and verify physician orders
• Monitor and manage mechanical ventilation, interpret blood work, and assess patients across all ages
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records
• Troubleshoot and maintain respiratory care instruments and equipment
• Mentor new staff and students; participate in training and orientation
• Assist with airway management and arterial blood gas draws
• Engage in departmental meetings, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance activities
