Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Active state licensure as required
  • Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients, from neonates to adults
  • Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress and response to therapies
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory treatments and home care equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop tailored treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and regulations
