Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Douglasville, Georgia

Schedule:

• Night shift: 6:30 pm–7:00 am
• Includes 1 weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) with current RCP license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (Instructor-level credentials accepted)
• NRP or equivalent (initial or within 180 days)
• Associates or Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy preferred
• 6+ months recent critical care respiratory experience; emergency and pediatric experience required
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
• Proficient with electronic records and clinical database documentation

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-acuity respiratory care using independent judgment in critical care units
• Interpret clinical data, manage ventilators, perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• Administer medication, oxygen, and medical gas therapies per physician orders
• Mentor and educate new staff and patients’ families
• Facilitate and support quality improvement and evidence-based practices
• Maintain complete, accurate electronic medical records in compliance with standards
• Participate in invasive and non-invasive procedures, pulmonary diagnostics, and cardiac services as needed
• Foster a positive team environment; uphold safety and performance standards
• Wear dark grey pewter uniform
