Stepping into a specialized department dedicated to Critical Care Respiratory Therapy, you’ll collaborate within a robust multi-tiered leadership structure, gaining hands-on experience alongside Neonatologists, Hospitalists, and seasoned RT supervisors and directors. With the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population—including adults and pediatric cases in both inpatient and emergency settings—this role offers unmatched scope to broaden your clinical expertise, especially in trauma level 2 and 3 care environments.

Schedule/Hours:
- Three 12-hour shifts: Days (6:30 am–7:00 pm) & Nights (6:30 pm–7:00 am)
- Every third weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- No mandatory call, occasional voluntary off-shift call
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Valid Wisconsin RT license (may take 6–8 weeks)
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years RT experience with critical care focus
- Experience in trauma level 2 or 3 environments
- Capability to assist with intubation and manage airways during code blue situations
- First-time travelers and travel duos welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ABGs and CBGs in ICUs
- Cover EKG department overnight as needed
- Care for both adult and pediatric patients, including in ED settings
- Apply expertise with modern equipment: Servo U/I, PB840, Hamilton T1, V-60/30, Vapotherm, INOmax Plus, and more
