Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Demonstrated pediatric respiratory care proficiency
• Competency with aerosol therapies, airway clearance and management, and ventilator systems
• Experience with neonatal protocols, blood gas analysis, and clinical pathway implementation
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Familiarity with transport protocols and special gas therapies preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer medicated aerosol therapies (small volume and vibrating mesh nebulizers, Pentamidine, MDI, DPI)
• Deliver comprehensive airway management, including suctioning, tracheostomy care, and NAVA ventilator initiation
• Execute high-risk delivery procedures and neonatal rapid response protocols
• Conduct blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
• Apply clinical guidelines for asthma, cystic fibrosis, RDS, and acute chest syndrome
• Monitor patients using oximetry, capnography, ventilator graphics, and more
• Safely manage patient transport with advanced respiratory support
• Perform equipment cleaning and routine quality assurance checks
