Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel contract
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver expert pediatric respiratory care, including advanced ventilatory and airway management techniques.
- Administer medicated aerosol therapies: nebulizers, DPIs, MDIs, holding chambers, and specialized medications such as pentamidine.
- Provide high-level airway clearance procedures, including PEP, oscillatory devices, high-frequency chest wall oscillation, IPV, and cough assist.
- Perform blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation.
- Manage patients on invasive and non-invasive ventilation, including CPAP, BiPAP, NIMV, NAVA, and specialized protocols (Nitric Oxide, Heliox).
- Participate in high-risk deliveries, surfactant administration, and protocols such as NRP.
- Facilitate oxygen therapy with advanced respiratory equipment and monitoring systems.
- Support patient education and family instruction on respiratory care modalities.
- Conduct internal and MRI transport support with assisted ventilation.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RRT credential and licensure (OH licensure preferred).
- Pediatric respiratory therapy experience preferred.
- Proficiency with advanced respiratory modalities and clinical guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
