Qualifications:
- Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Demonstrated knowledge of respiratory care modalities and protocols
- Proven experience performing assessment, treatment, and diagnostic testing for patients of varying acuity levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and medical staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures
- Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans accordingly
- Operate and maintain medical equipment including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
- Participate in patient and family education regarding respiratory care and disease management
- Ensure accurate documentation of therapy sessions and clinical findings
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety at all times
