Qualifications:

• Must hold current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
• Valid and unrestricted state license required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred or required per facility
• Demonstrated clinical competence in adult and pediatric respiratory care
• Previous experience in acute or critical care settings is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff for comprehensive care planning
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and monitoring equipment
• Perform diagnostic procedures including ABGs and pulmonary function testing
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and self-care
• Accurately document patient assessment, interventions, and responses
