Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (RRT)
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Arkansas
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an acute care respiratory setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients, including emergency and critical care interventions
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ respiratory status and progress
- Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments per physician orders
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment in compliance with established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and home care
