This travel opportunity places you in a dynamic acute care setting with 140 beds, utilizing advanced respiratory technology including Hamilton C1, V60, and MR1 ventilators. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians and support staff, further exposure to the latest workplace practices and leadership approaches. This role is an outstanding resume builder, offering essential NICU experience while broadening your expertise in adult and neonatal care.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
- Including every other weekend for a well-balanced work-life routine
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Minimum 2 years of general RT experience
- Must have at least a level 3 proficiency in NICU skills
- Proficient in CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, intubation assistance, and mechanical ventilation
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (NRP can be obtained after hire)
- Experience with Meditech electronic documentation preferred
- Ability to provide patient care for adult and neonatal populations
- Dress Code: All black scrubs
