Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license for Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and settings
Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Perform and analyze arterial blood gases, administer medications, and manage ventilators
- Educate patients and families about procedures and respiratory health
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control guidelines and patient safety protocols
