Key Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Valid state Respiratory Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in acute care settings preferred
  • Willingness to float to the NICU and adapt to various patient populations
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy to patients across multiple units, including NICU
  • Perform assessments and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Uphold safety, infection control, and hospital policies at all times
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
