Excel in an advanced healthcare setting by supporting neonatal and pediatric patient outcomes as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a busy, collaborative environment. This specialized role involves working in a high-acuity NICU/PICU unit, using state-of-the-art respiratory equipment and contributing to a multidisciplinary team committed to innovation and patient-centered care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract assignment

Key Qualifications:

  • Active credentials in BLS, NRP, and PALS required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years’ recent acute care hospital experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in NICU/PICU environments and advanced respiratory care
  • Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system strongly preferred
  • Comfort with equipment such as High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servos, continuous/regular nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, and Heliox delivery systems
  • Clear, adaptable communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Flexible to provide coverage for adult floors and capable of performing procedures such as nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, and CPT

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care, utilizing advanced technological and pharmacological interventions for pediatric, neonatal, and occasionally adult patients
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow respiratory therapists in a fast-paced, supportive environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
  • Accurately document treatments and patient responses in Meditech EMR
  • Demonstrate adaptability by floating to other respiratory units as needed
  • Maintain professional attire in the required light gray (silver) uniform
