This contract opportunity allows you to work alongside a multidisciplinary group of professionals in a fast-paced environment, equipped with high-tech devices and comprehensive protocols.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; details to be discussed during interview.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
  • Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS are mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in an acute care hospital as an RRT.
  • Proven proficiency in Meditech documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise with advanced respiratory equipment: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servos, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and continuous nebulizers.
  • Direct experience in NICU/PICU settings.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, adaptability, and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality respiratory assessment, treatment, and evaluation to NICU and PICU patients.
  • Operate and manage advanced respiratory technology and medication delivery systems.
  • Collaboratively engage with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Accurately document care and interventions using Meditech.
  • Float as needed to adult floors for therapy such as nebulizer treatments, BIPAP, and CPT.
  • Maintain a team-oriented, patient-centered approach in a high-acuity environment.

Additional Details:

  • Silver/Light Gray uniform required.
  • Work in a leading tertiary care and teaching hospital recognized as a Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Level 3 NICU, and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
