Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Valid, unencumbered license to practice in the state or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience as an RRT
• American Heart Association BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred
• Excellent critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality respiratory care to patients with varying acuity levels
• Assess, monitor, and record patient responses to therapy
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and ancillary teams on respiratory plans of care
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and disease management
• Respond to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention
