Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Johnson City, NY

We’re seeking a registered respiratory therapist with at least 2 years of recent experience, including critical care and NICU experience, for a 13-week travel assignment in Johnson City, New York.

Located near Binghamton in New York’s Southern Tier, Johnson City offers access to local restaurants, parks, and outdoor activities. This assignment is a fit for an RRT who enjoys working with patients across different age groups and is comfortable supporting critical care and external patient transports.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract

• Night shift

• 36 hours per week

• Every other weekend

Key Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential

• At least 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience

• Critical care and NICU experience

• Experience with V60 BiPAP and Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators

• Epic experience

• Ability to participate in external patient transports

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients

• Manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy

• Perform treatments including aerosol therapy, suctioning, and secretion mobilization

• Assist with extubations and perform arterial blood gas procedures

• Monitor patients and equipment, responding to changes in condition

• Document care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team

• Participate in external patient transports
