Providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary care across all age groups, this position requires a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist dedicated to delivering patient-centered respiratory treatments with respect and dignity. The role involves hands-on respiratory therapy services and active participation in multidisciplinary problem-solving to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Graduation from an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program or equivalent with an AS degree.
- Minimum of one year clinical experience in hospital respiratory therapy.
- Current National Board for Respiratory Care credentials (CRTT, CRT, RT, or RRT).
- Certification in BLS is mandatory; ACLS and PALS are encouraged.
- Proficiency in interpreting physician orders, technical manuals, and departmental policies.
- Strong communication abilities to explain treatments to patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Sound mathematical skills for accurate documentation and interpretation of data.
- Advanced reasoning skills to analyze problems and implement solutions.
- Expertise in airway management, ventilator operation, ABG analysis, chest physiotherapy, patient suctioning, and respiratory medications.
- Experience with adult, pediatric, and infant respiratory equipment including ventilators, suction devices, pulse oximeters, and pulmonary function testing tools.
