This assignment is ideal for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist looking to grow professionally. Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment, variable shifts

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Current RCP license (Ohio)
  • BLS and NRP certification
  • Proficiency in the following techniques:
    • Medicated aerosol therapy (including small volume nebulizers, breath actuated nebulizer, mesh nebulizers)
    • Airway clearance techniques (PEP, hyperinflation therapy, high frequency oscillation, cough assist)
    • Suctioning, tracheostomy care, manual ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV
    • High risk delivery support (surfactant admin, T-piece ventilation, intubation)
    • Blood gas sampling and interpretation
    • Humidity therapy and application of clinical practice guidelines
    • Transport support for pediatric/neonatal patients

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate respiratory care across pediatric procedures
  • Initiate, monitor, and evaluate therapeutic modalities (ventilators, oxygen, nitric oxide)
  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
