In this travel role, you'll work with a highly experienced team in a unit equipped with the latest Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators. With over 60 skilled respiratory therapists on staff and cutting-edge technology at your fingertips, you'll engage with diverse workplace practices, varied patient populations—including critical care and trauma cases—and different leadership styles, all while broadening your expertise in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- 5:30 PM – 6:00 AM (night shift)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy, including breathing treatments and ventilator assessments.
- Care for patients in critical care, trauma, and NICU/PEDS as needed.
- Collaborate with a supportive and energetic interdisciplinary team.
- Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate patient documentation.
- Prioritize patient safety and perform rapid clinical assessments in fast-paced situations.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RRT licensure.
- At least 1 year recent experience in acute care hospital settings.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Preferred: experience in NICU/PEDS and Level 1 Trauma environments.
