Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in respiratory therapy
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS required within 6 months of hire
  • Active, unrestricted Colorado license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • CRT required; RRT must be obtained within 2 years; NRP preferred

Schedule/Hours

  • Travel assignment – schedule details provided during interview

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, and incentive spirometry
  • Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics: EKGs, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan, stress echocardiograms, tilt tests, holter scanning, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, EEGs, home sleep studies, and nocturnal oximetry as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation to departmental standards
