Serving in a dynamic, 371-bed healthcare setting with varied units including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ED, Labor & Delivery, and a Level 2B Nursery, you’ll deepen your expertise in acute care, gain exposure to leading respiratory technologies, and collaborate with skilled colleagues following established leadership practices. Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Days/Evenings rotating; every other weekend required
- Occasional rotation to 11a-11p for Days, with Night positions available
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience, specifically with ventilators
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Proficient in drawing arterial blood gases
- CRT or RRT credentialed by the NBRC
- Active MA Respiratory Therapist License
- Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide optimal respiratory care to a diverse patient population across ICU, Med/Surg, and specialty units
- Effectively utilize PB980 and Hamilton T1 ventilators
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gas analyses
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate on patient care plans
- Maintain precise charting within the EPIC EMR system
